The APTA Alabama Governmental Affairs Committee (GAC) currently has two District Chair positions open:
· District 5 – North Alabama
· District 7 – West Alabama
You can see the map below for a visual of where the districts are located. The GAC Chair is the conduit for legislative action between APTA Alabama and members/non-members within each specific region. The Chair is expected to build relationships and communicate with legislators, key contacts in the area, and constituents within the district to create and maintain a thriving grassroots network.
